Why we like him:
He's the strongest candidate. Articulate, knowledgeable. Has a long resume of community involvement and already has working relationships with many city staffers. He's the sort of person who could make significant progress on his top priorities: revitalizing aging neighborhoods and attracting more quality jobs to town.
Best attribute:
His drive and ability to place nice with others. Heumann may have lost his last bid for council, but that didn't deter him. He has become even more involved in the issues and more aggressive in selling his ideas, but not overly so.
